BSRB Seminar Rooms

This program will provide faculty with a comprehensive overview of the empirical evidence for the benefits of Mindfulness Stress Reduction on health and well-being and experiences in fostering mindfulness.

Participants will have the opportunity to understand foundational principles of mindfulness and how it builds the capacity for greater self-assurance, regulation of emotions, and moment to moment awareness in daily life.

Findings from the latest research on how mindfulness affects both neurological and biological systems and physical and mental health in various populations will be shared. Experiential practice will follow the didactic material to enable participants to experience these theoretical principles and their application to this moment. Information on resources for learning mindfulness will also be shared.

Breakfast will be provided.
