Exploring Mindfulness: Techniques and a Guided Meditation

Learning mindfulness methods is a great tool for those wanting to connect to a place of inner peace and calm. In these sessions, we will discuss mindfulness techniques and apply them with a 20-minute guided meditation. Each one will address a different skill but are also stand alone. Appropriate for beginners or those with experience.

The session will be led by Frank Anderson, MD, MPH, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Anderson has been meditating for 25 years and has hosted numerous meditation courses in Michigan and across the country. He is undergoing a program to become a Certified Mindfulness Teacher and is near completion.
