Established instructional track faculty will share their stories around their career trajectories including milestones and stumbling blocks to avoid.

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team is a stand-alone tool that provides an individual with a rich understanding of how his or her behaviors affect the team. It applies the principles of The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team to unlock actionable ways to optimize an individual’s contribution to a team. The workshop is based on Patrick Lencioni’s 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team model which focuses on Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results.

Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict helps participants improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, Everything DiSC Productive Conflict provides participants with techniques to curb destructive behaviors and effectively respond to conflict situations. The program features an exploration of DiSC® in a conflict context, provides an opportunity for participants to explore their destructive conflict responses, and offers them a method for making more productive choices in their response to conflict.
Inclusive teaching involves deliberately cultivating a learning environment where all learners are treated equitably, have equal access to learning, and feel valued and supported. In this interactive workshop facilitated by pedagogical consultants from U-M’s Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT), clinical faculty will examine four principles for creating an inclusive clinical learning environment, one which attends to instructors' and learners' social identities and to the ways systemic inequities shape dynamics in teaching-learning spaces.
