Providing Effective Feedback for Your Staff During Their Annual Performance Evaluation
This evaluation workshop reviews the newly-adopted Performance “Valuation”* form that will be used for staff and leadership within Michigan Medicine. It takes a novel approach to giving feedback by focusing on the staff’s strengths and goals for their development. This new form allows for personalization and encourages year-round collaboration between Leaders and Direct Reports. Research shows that this is a more effective way to keep staff engaged. There will be ample time for questions and discussion.
*This form replaces the separate staff and leadership evaluations used in the past. You can see a preview here! Evaluations currently used by bargained-for staff and faculty will not be affected by this change in FY20.
