Small-Group Discussion on Coping with COVID-19: Helping Our Children

In partnership with Natalie Burns, LMSW, MA, we are offering virtual small group discussion sessions for faculty to talk with one another about a variety of topics. This small group discussion will be focused on ways to help our children during COVID-19. We will discuss the ways children process all of the changes going on in their lives and how to understand their feelings. We will also discuss ways to juggle work and home. To allow for a robust and candid discussion, each session will have a maximum of 10 participants.

The conversation will be facilitated by Natalie Burns, LMSW, MA, Senior Clinical Social Worker in the Department of Psychiatry and Department of Social Work.

If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend this workshop, or have questions about accessibility, please contact us at UMMS-Faculty-Development@med.umich.edu or 734-764-2574.
Please also let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies. Advance notice is necessary as some accommodations may require more time for the University to arrange so letting us know at least 2 weeks in advance is much appreciated.
