Telling a Story that Sticks and Sells

Human beings have been telling stories since we could grunt, gesture and scribble pictures on the walls of caves. It’s in our nature (and in the way our brains are structured) to put our experiences into words and use those stories to entertain, instruct and persuade others.  In a world glutted with products and services, stories are the way to contextualize and differentiate what we’re selling.  Not only that, people remember a story that has moved and engaged them long after they remember a fact or figure.

In this interactive session, Eleni demonstrates both the value and method of creating and delivering a story that can help make a presentation, business pitch or conversation significantly more engaging. She shares— and then deconstructs— signature stories from her own keynote presentations, modeling the very techniques that she then teaches. Participants will try their hand at punching up their elevator pitches with a brief but compelling story.
