Beyond the Feedback Sandwich: Giving Effective Feedback

Originally offered as part of our Early Career Kickstart program, we are happy to announce this interactive and highly participatory workshop is now available to all faculty. This session will focus on giving effective feedback to learners, beyond the standard strategies you may have heard before. Join us for a workshop that includes breakout sessions where you will brainstorm with other participants about how to effectively give feedback to different learners.

Objectives
  • Recognize the complex nature and importance of feedback in learner development
  • Demonstrate best practices for providing effective feedback to learners in the clinical setting
  • Identify challenges to giving feedback and develop strategies to overcome these barriers
