Early Career Kickstart: Research Track

These biannual sessions are intended as a follow-up to the monthly New Faculty Orientation. Orientation gave you the information to get you started at Michigan. In this session, there will be specific focus on expectations for advancement and career planning within the research track. Other topics will include: funding & grant resources, setting up your lab, hiring in the lab, research regulations, and mentoring.  Established research track faculty will share their stories around their career trajectories including milestones and stumbling blocks to avoid.

Intended Audience: Medical School research track faculty (and clinical lecturers who are interested in the research track) who have been at the organization for at least 3-6 months

Why: Introduction to numerous resources that will further support faculty's development
