The Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) develops mechanisms for inclusion, diversity and cultural sensitivity among faculty, students, and staff at Michigan Medicine. OHEI advances clinical care for underserved patient populations through research and education. Under the leadership of David J. Brown, MD, Associate Vice President and Associate Dean for Health Equity and Inclusion and Phyllis M. Blackman, MBA, Administrative Director, OHEI's goal is to transform healthcare and ensure health care equity.
